Western Center Black History Month

During my time at Western Center on Law and Poverty I developed social media posts that sought to not only highlight their work, but also illustrate the context in which that work existed. As an organization that is rooted in social justice it was important to them to uplift the work of leaders in the movements they were a part of and decenter themselves as an organization in certain conversations. This campaign for Black History Month both celebrates the shoulders on which current Black justice work is built upon and those currently making strides to bring us closer to a just future. The design is mine and the copy was written by a collegue in the Development department.
